PTFC Wraps Up 2015-16 Winter Agility Training

January 27, 2016

With the conclusion of this week’s sessions, PTFC completed another successful five-week agility training routine with our boys and girls players.  Each week consisted of one indoor training session and one outdoor training session.  The sessions are led by a group of PTFC coaches, all of whom have specialized training in this area, and are designed to enhance players’ coordination, explosiveness, and overall agility.

“I was most pleased with the clear progression with many of the returning players,” said David Upchurch, PTFC Director of Coaching.  “I noticed many players who attended every session the club offered to them.  Those are the players that will see the biggest improvement in their individual success, and that will only help lead to team success.”

The PTFC Winter Agility Program is offered to each PTFC boy and girl player, and the cost of these sessions is covered in player dues.  Each indoor session is held at Ultimate Sports Arena of Kernersville (USAK), and the outdoor sessions are held at the High Point Athletic Complex track and field facility.

The Wednesday Skills Sessions for the spring 2016 season will be released soon.  Stay tuned!
