PTFC Teams Find Success in Fall End-of-Season Tournaments

Several PTFC teams participated in fall end-of-season tournaments over this past weekend.
The following teams all competed at the Lake Norman Fall Classic in Statesville, NC: 04 Lady Black, 04 Silver, 04 Bronze, 03 Lady Black, 02 White, 01 Lady White, 01 Lady Grey, 99 Lady White, 99 Lady Silver and 97 Lady White. The tournament was held on Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22.
The 04 Lady Black, coached by Assistant Director of Coaching for U11-U13 Girls Ron Talley, played very well throughout the weekend and finished as champions of their division! This caps off a very successful fall season for this group, who went 18-2-2 during the season.
Three of our older age-group boys teams took part in the CASL Showcase, with the 00 Black, 99 Black and 98 Black all participating against some very strong competition at one of the best club tournaments in the country. The event lasted Friday, November 20 through Sunday, November 22.
At the CASL Showcase, our 99 Black team, coached by Tony Falvino, won all three of their games and finished first in their division. The team earned victories over New York Soccer Club, Pride Predators (CO), and IMG Academy.
Each of these teams played hard and represented our club well at their respective events. Congrats on this success!
