Wilson, NC - The 99 PTFC Lady Black team recently completed their three-peat by winning a third conescutive State Cup championship! The team was excellent during finals weekend, scoring eight goals and keeping a clean sheet through both matches. The 99 Lady Black won their semi-final match over TUSA by a score of five to zero, to advance to the final match.  In the final, they faced a very talented BSC team, but ultimately were able to score three great goals and cap off a terrific fall season and earn another first place finish.

"I am extremely proud of how this team came together and fought for each other," said head coach Brandi Fontaine.  "It was a total team effort. Our focus is to get better every time we train. We experienced a lot of injuries this year, which required other players to step up. I believe this made us stronger entering State Cup play. Our determination and discipline to staying focused on the process and getting better really showed, and I couldn't be happier for these girls."

This group has now played in four consecutive State Cup finals, finishing as runners-up in 2013 and as champions in 2014 spring, 2014 fall, and now this 2015 fall season.

Congratulations on all of your success ladies!
